Skin vs dry vs mayonnaise?

for the past 2 days,

my skin has been extremely dry.

its red, itchy, and feels very tight and uncomfortable.

my face itches constantly.

and i have quite alot of dry patches and peeling skin shedding off.

i also heard mayonnaise

will do the trick ?

is that true.

and can you give me more suggestions please !
Skin vs dry vs mayonnaise?
If it's just dryness from some external cause, yes, regular mayonnaise will help.

If you suspect it may be something else, I suggest you go see your doctor.

it might be psoriasis which gives you red and itchy bumps on your skin

use some anti-itch cream (cortaid??) and moisturize regularly to help it heal...try to refrain from itching it, that'll make it worse!

lightly exfoliate to get rid of some of the dry flakes and you might try using body butter (or any thick and creamy skin moisturizer) at night to do intensive hydration

drink plenty of water and take vitamin e and fish oil supplements to help hydrate from the inside to the outside

good luck!
Reply:I dunno about mayonaise but I suffer from dry skin all the time. Aqious cream is great for dry skin, but if you want something really oily use Parrafin oil, it works wonders. For your face i would recommend Either Hydrocortisyl cream 1% or protopic ointment although Im not sure if a prescription is needed for it. Good Luck, and If you do try the mayonaise thing, let me know how it goes =)
Reply:I wouldn't go with mayonnaise, I really don't know if it has any benefits at all, but when in doubt, it's better to be safe than sorry. What I suggest for you is a moisturizer I've found called Dermagenics. It's perfect for the face skin and neck, perfect for day and night use. It is a complete skin care system in one convenient jar. It is also very safe and pure, and doesn't have glycolic acid or alpha hydroxys. These ingredients actually attract sun damage known to cause wrinkles. It even has an ingredient that's the alternative to Botox. I would really suggest that you try it. It really worked for me and I don't think I'll go back to the other moisturizers I've tried.
