A part of my skin on the back of my neck feels and appears a bit different. It feels very smooth, somewhat like velvet than rest of the skin and level wise, also seems a bit uneven. Its color seems slightly darker. Anybody has any idea what that might be. There's no pain or anything. May be just slight burning sometimes, but nothing else. allergy or what? Any clue? Should I see a doctor or a dermitologist?

Go see a dermatologist, might be contact dermatitis, might be a premalignant lesion, could be anything.

It might just simply be a birthmark. Then again, you should go to your doctor to confirm that.
