Skin on my lips?

I don't know when i started biting my lips but i have tried to stop but i can't help it as the skin is alway hanging off just waiting to be bit off. I imagine that my lips are a right mess; they are so hard and dry. Is it possible for them to not be so hard and the skin to stop hanging off? Can it grow back to normal? Help
Skin on my lips?
Blistex, Carmex or any other medicated lip balm. You can even use Neosporin, just don't eat it. When you are in the shower brush your teeth and your lips and immediately apply the ointment and keep applying all day. You'll see a quick improvement.

If skin is hanging, apply the ointment and rub in, then remove with a clean damp cloth. You will see the dead skin wipe off.

vaseline, leave it on for 30 mins at a time. i carry around a tiny little one. they also have a little tube. also, try Carmex in the little tube or jar.
Reply:i used to have this habit too, usually when i got nervous. leave them alone and they'll heal just fine. carmex is the best to use
Reply:My lips get like that in the winter and at most beauty shops such as bath and body works they sell a exfoliating lip stuff that you apply just like chap-stick, rub in, wipe off and then it help if you apply chap-stick afterwords. And stop biting your lips!!
Reply:i use vaseline and leave it on til it dries up then reapply.but if ur a guy and u dont want to have lips looking like u have on lipgloss then use name brand chapstick.cut off the excess skin becuz if u bite it off the whole piece of skin in the middle will come off.
Reply:use chapstick as often as possible and that'll help your lips heal faster but the absolute best thing to use is vasalene. Apply it before bed and as often as possible in between and the vaselene will help heal your lips and doesn't taste too good so it should keep you from biting your lips. the skin on your lips should heal once you stop biting them and breaking the skin.
