Skin problem??!! help me asap please!!?

Ok, heres the problem:

I have dry skin with acne bumps on my chin, cheeks and forehead. My skin is also very pale and freckly with very noticeable pores and i am prone to cold sores and very dry, flaky lips. Any makeup i have used doesnt cover up the bumps, bare minerals is the best but it comes off throughout the day. Any advice on makeup or products for all/ any of my problems would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.

Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC diffrence in my blackeads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!

dont use makeup it would block up your pores even more. clean ur face a lot. try proactive its good stuff
Reply:Just use vasiline and dry skin cream.
Reply:I would reccommend going to the dermatologist and get your skin acne free...don't wear makeup alot--if its not oil-free it will clog your pores. Try a tinted moisturizer instead from Clinique. All their products are oil-free and good for your skin!!

good luck=]
Reply:ok well i use true blend whipped foundation by cover girl and its amazing i think it covers up so well but you need to buy a foundation brush or if you want you can use your fingers but its amazing i promise but if you happen to get a color thats to light then i bought the same brand bronzer but the bronzer comes with a weird thing so you can apply it to your face i like to use a brush but i cant explain the brush its just like the brush you would use to apply blush but if you get a color thats to dark then im not sure what to do soryy! hope i helped! and wash your face everyday and night and buy a afce mask to do once a week i like the kind from bath and body works!
Reply:First of all, You should try getting rid of the acne instead of covering it up. If possible, visit a dermatologist, and they'll probably be able to set you up with some strong creams to rid of the acne. Or if this isnt possible, try simplifying your face routine to simple steps: washing with a cleanser such as the orange neutrogena facewash, toner, and a calming mousturizer. Try aveen's daily calming mousturizer in a pink bottle. As for makeup, I find MAC studio fix to work the best, ans stays on a long time for me. I've tried Bare Minerals, and it's horrible on my skin!!! Also, for your flaky skin, I find applying extra virgin olive oil or jojoba oil (trader joes) overnight will rid of my dry skin the next day. Dont worry, its a good oil, and won't clog your pores. But if you still have dry flakes, I find it helpful to use a really good tweezer, like tweezerman, to gently pull of the flakes either before or after applying makeup. Good luck!
