Make sure you put alot of face lotion on after baths, at night, in the morning.. I know it sounds counter intuitive, but it keeps your face hydrated. Your face produces alot of oil when its not properly hydrated too...

Reply:You can try taking Vitamin A or Beta-carotene. You need 15,000 - 25,000 IU daily. Whenever I take at least 15,000 IU my skin gets dryer.
Reply:Witch Hazel. It can close the pores and make your skin dry. You can get it from most drug stores. and then first wash your face with a gentle soap and then apply it on your face using a cotton ball. You should also drink plenty of carrot juice or rockmelon. The vit A and Vit C are generally very good for skin.
Reply:An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/
Reply:Problems like oily or dry skin respond well to self-care measures, such as using moisturizers and avoiding long, hot showers and baths. If you have very dry and scaly skin, your doctor may recommend you use an all-natural cream that contains natural oils that gives soothing and glowing results.

In a more serious skin disease, such as ichthyosis or psoriasis, your doctor may prescribe prescription creams and ointments or other treatments in addition to home care.

Dry skin leads to dermatitis, which causes red, itchy skin. In these cases, treatment may include lotions with natural-oil ingredients. If your skin cracks open, your doctor may prescribe wet dressings with mildly astringent properties to contract your skin and reduce secretions and prevent infection.
Reply:I have some great home remedies for dry skin. I will send you the links to the articles that have the recipes.
