i always confused with both the defination.. help out~

No, Some Italians, Mediterranean people have olive skin. Fair skin persons get tans. Tans go away if not maintained. Olive skin refers to the natural skin tone.

Reply:totally different. I am italian and have olive skin, but also have a tan in the summer.
