How do you get pale skin?

Can someone please tell me how to get pale/white skin? I'm asian so I naturally have an olive skin tone. I don't wanna sound ghey but im scene and I find paler skin waaayyyy more attractive. How did michael jackson bleach his skin? 0.0 I don't want to spend too much money buying products either..is there an at home way to bleach your skin? :O
