Skin Graph In Your Mouth........ Pain?

ok i'm going to get a skin graph in my mouth (taking skin from the top of my mouth and putting it on my lower gums) i'm wondering, 1 to 10 how much will it hurt?

I have a friend who had this done, he said the skin removal from the roof of the mouth was much worse than the actual graft to the lower gums. He was under anesthesia for the procedure, but afterwards the pain was about a 3 out of 10. It lasted for about two-three days.

I hope to God you will be put to sleep for this, so you won't feel pain!! When you wake up stay on your pain meds....Mouths heal very fast, so it should only be uncomfy for a few days!

Reply:My cousin had this done when she was 10. She never complained so I would assume the pain wasn't that bad at all.
Reply:its skin graft not graph and it wont hurt if you're under anesthetic. You won't feel hardly anything at all. You will just see the doctor or anesthesiologist filling it with skin. It may look weird when they do it but won't hurt
