If Bats spend most of their time hanging upside down, then by theory, if we look at a Bat in the standing position, their skin should wrinkle in an upwards position! Our skin wrinkles downwards because we spend most of our day in an up position, gravity taking it price. But if Bats are hanging downwards most of the day....then their skin should be wrinkled in an upwards position? Not so?.....I have had this question for years! Thank God for Yahoo Answers!
Does Bat Skin Fly Up or Down?
And people say I think up some crazy crap. Do bats even live long enough for the wrinkles to become very noticeable? Most bats are furry too, aren't they?
Thanks a lot. Your question is going to keep me up wanting to know the answer too. lol.
Does Bat Skin Fly Up or Down?
I must say that I've never given this any serious consideration, but I'll take a good look at myself in the mirror and then get back to you on that one. Now excuse me while I fly off and echolocate some furniture beatles for my supper.
